Using the ITM Method for stocks, we can buy leaps calls of stocks
with recent golden crosses such as SOFI, ROKU, XPENG, MCD.
We can find stocks with recent golden cross with just inputting
the words “golden cross” in Google News and click Search.Jim MorrisGuestIs the normal 50-200 day Golden Cross or the one we are looking for the 10-200 day Golder Cross?
George HalongtonGuestWe use 50ma above 200ma for Golden Cross.
We use 50ma below 200ma for Death Cross.
We also use 10ma along with 50ma and 200ma
to understand the stock and stock market.George HalongtonGuestThis technical analysis screenshot is from Robinhood.
Jeff LauniereGuestI do sometimes use ITM to buy stocks. The biggest problem of course with stocks is you have earnings which can cause the stock to climb or fall rapidly, and does not always fit what the earnings show. The other problem is that a single stock can be affected by things such as the death of a CEO, or people stepping down, fraud, poor earnings of another stock in the same sector, an analysts downgrade or upgrade, and many other things. It does often work, but has some issues that large ETF’s such as the SPY do not. In backtesting, I have found it works well with many stocks, other stocks it does not work out well at all.

James RoseGuestI checked your charts for SPY. I am confused. Your 200-day SMA today Nov. 25th on SPY is approximately $596.35 and the 10-day SMA is $597.91. I checked Barcharts and it lists the 200-day MA of SPY much less at $542.59. Which one is correct?
I also realized that the $1.56 below the 10-day (a .26 gap) makes this near a death cross on your .3% rule. Is this correct that we are near a death cross or is my math askew? -
